What are the risks to changing the default schema owners passwords in Oracle Applications. We are currently using 10.7 SC
I've taken over the administration and the past DBA said that Oracle does not support changing the passwords for the likes of APPS, GL, AR etc.. but I cannot find any documentation from Oracle stating it can't be done.
I know it could cause problems in any mods that have been done where passwords could be hard coded or from Cron jobs that have been created connecting to the database with hard coded passwords ( I know this isn't recommended and I've cleaned up these issues) but with standard Oracle Apps are there issues?
Thanks,
FLSTF
