DragOver in IE

Hi. I'm having a problem with grabbing the dragover event from my activex component when it is used inside of IE. It looks like IE grabs the DragOver event and never passes it on - so, for example, I have a component which accepts a file being dragged from Windows Explorer. It works fine in everything EXCEPT IE, which wants to open it itself.

Now, I have tried installing system hooks, but have had no real luck. Any help at all would be very greatly appreciated.
