dragging a text object?

hi all i have a problem, any help would be GREATLY appreciated as to how i can rectify this problem.
what i want to do is, have a text input box and as the user types what they want, another text box (dynamic) below the input box will display the variable name, then i want the user to be able to click and drag that text object to a position on the screen. any idea how i'm gonna go about doing this?

also, any idea on changing font attributes with actionscripts?
