Hi,

Could someone maybe give me a hand with this, (no hurries, its just an idea)

STAGE
iv got a draggable MC, (mc with a button in) its possible to drag this mc from left to right and right to left over the screen. (not up or down)

EFFECT
id like for the mc to play a sound when dragged from left to right

THE TRICKY BIT
the more to the right, the higher the sound....

A SOLUTION?
the way i see it is i have a 4 second mp3, when the dragable mc is dragged from left to right it plays the mp3,
if i drag it half way it plays the mp3 from 0 to 2 seconds.
if i drag it from the right to halfway it plays the mp3 from 4 to 2 seconds...

POSSIBLE??
not sure, it would be cool tho :)

any idea's?
thanks

I learned a bit yesterday, today i learned a lot, imagine what i'll learn tomorrow!

What do you mean by "higher"? Volume, pitch or time played?

...from 4 to 2 seconds...

Are you saying that dragging from right to left would reverse play the sound?
If dragged all the way to the left (from the right), would the whole sound be then reversed played?

What the original position of the clip to start with?
Middle?

well it could be a different pitch, but it could also be a later point of the soundfile

if 1 soundfile was used then yes.

left..
