Have a user that likes to use drag and drop to save Outlook e-mails as .msg files for project specific e-mails into a project specific folder. IE- Moving a message from your inbox to say C:\Projects\My_Project. In Outlook 2003, when you would use drag and drop you would actually "Move" the message out of your inbox and into the folder where you drop it. In Outlook 2010 it appears to only copy the message, not move it out of the inbox despite the fact that the user chose "move". This makes the user cranky because they have to take the extra step to delete the message from Outlook as well.
In searching, it kind of looks like this is a known bug in 2010, but I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this and has a solution.

Thanks in advance.

dont use the new version of outlook, but have you tried a right click drag and drop like when you move files within explorer, as this gives the option to move, might be worth a try.

Hope this is of use, Rob.[yoda]
