drag drop snap

Dunno, what's "drag, drop and snap"?
If you're talking about snapping to a grid, surely it's just a matter of rounding the dragged-to coordinates to the nearest n pixels when the mouse button is released.
Don't ask me how though - that's one for the Javascript Forum, forum216
