Hi,

I have been asked to attempt to disable the drag and drop functionality on certain windows 2000 Professional and NT workstation Desktop PCs.
Has anyone got any idea how to do this, I know the function is easily disabled within XP, but any ideas in 2000?

Any help would be much appreciated

Here's a reg hack you can use -- beware, you lose basically ALL drag-n-drop functionality everywhere in windows.

Regedit to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Desktop and change DragHeight and DragWidth to 5000 or so.

Reboot and you can't drag/drop anything anywhere.

Ah cheers[thumbsup2], that's one way down, the other option I have and someone else has said that he's seen it done in another company...

is it possible with NT and 2000 again, to ask a conformation for every drag and drop action?
