Drag and Drop no longer works 1

I have installed WinVNC to enable control over remote servers keyboard, mouse & video. It comes with a registry entry file which I also intsalled. After running WinVNC and sucessfully controlling the remote machines the drag and drop function on Windows NT 4 (SP6) has stopped. This makes life very difficult as every move of a file has to be done with a right click cut / right click paste. I have unistalled WinVNC but still the problem persists.

Any ideas, anyone?

First thing I'd do is reinstall Service Pack 6. If this doesn't solve your problem, try installing WinVNC on another NT4SP6 machine and use regmon to check which registry keys are added or changed in the process. I'd also monitor which files are being added or replaced using filemon. After this, using the regmon and filemon logs, you can manually undo the changes WinVNC did in the registry or on the files.
