I would appreciate help with this problem. I am using a Phaser 7700 and want to print in black only, at about 50% of the standard level, but not as a half-tone.
(For instance, I can do this on my desktop HP Laserjet 6L when it is set in ‘Economode’.)
I can’t find a way of doing this with the 7700 or 7750 printer drivers. I have spoken to Xerox and they have suggested trying another driver but can offer no further advice or assistance.
