I have a strange one. A user on Outlook 2k3 in XP cached mode to a Exchange2k3 server has a draft folder that has "migrated (inadvertently moved) under another folder.

Trying to move it back to where it belongs gets me a error stating that I cannot move a special/system folder.

Does anyone know how to move/restore the draft folder to its correct location?

any assist is appreciated.

I haven't used this version, but with previous verions, anomilies like this were usually the result of a corrupt profile. Try creating another Outlook profile to see if that might cure the problem.

I FOUND THE ANSWER!

problems like this are fixed by running outlook.exe from a command line with the switch /resetfolders.

command form c:\program files\microsoft Office\office11\outlook.exe /resetfolders

That fixed it!
