DR5 and Call Pilot

I was having problems with a Mod 824 DR5 working with a new Call Pilot 100.Upon reading previous posts I see that
there are problems and workarounds by using DR5 with a Call Pilot, and that upgrading the software is recommended. It's been stated more than once that the CP will eventually fail if used with a DR5. Has anyone actually had a CP fail from using a DR5?

CallPilot is designed to work with the integrated systems 4.1 and above.

The compatibility chart says 308 DR5.1 will work with Call Pilots. In testing I've found that both 616 and 824 with DR5.1 will also work.

I haven't heard from anyone that's had a CP fail. It works just fine.
