Dr Watson when spell checking on NOtes r5.0.7

Each I'm using the "check spelling" feature (automatic or not), I'm receiving a Dr Watson message, access violation on nlnotes.exe. Notes crashes and I've to log off/log on from my NT4 workstation to be able to restart Notes (r5).
Can anybody help ?

Has Spell Check ever worked?

It is more likely that the spell check is not initialising and performing a system error and this is why Dr. Watson appears.
