Dr. Watson pvlsvr.exe error

Hello all,

We are having a sudden problem with BE 8.5. Last night, it failed all the jobs with the error 'unable to acquire device or media', no other descriptive message.
We also got a Dr. Watson error for PVLSVR.EXE. A search on this has turned up extremely similar problems, but they only mention older builds of BE, and only provide patches for the older builds.

Here is the configuration

Windows NT 4.0 sp6a
BE 8.5 Build 3571
OFA is installed but not enabled
Compaq ML370
384MB RAM
PIII-1G
Compaq TL891 Mini DLT Library
2xCompaq 40/80 DLT in Library FW 011A
DLT Library hooked up to On-Board SCSI
3 foot cable connects Library to server

Sorry, fimrware on DLT drives is 022B. BTW, This _was_ working. SCSI Id's are distributed like this
