Dr Watson error opening _MPROSRV.EXE

Hi,
Our database seemed to have closed itself down and since it did, all we get is a Dr Watson error and an "Error in database startup" when we try to start the databases. Progress don't even know whats going on here, anyone got any pointers???

Have you looked at the database .lg file for any clues? Has the database extent reached its capacity. Maybe the data extent has reached the 2 gig limit and either some purging needs to be carried out or another extent needs to be added. I would be starting with the .lg file...
