Dr Watson application errors

One of my workstations is constantly having Dr Watson error messages while the user is using either word or excel. The error message is "an application error has occurred and an application error log is being generated. EXCEL.exe Exception: access violation (0xc0000005), Address: 0x308e4b8c".

Can anyone give me any ideas as to how to remedy this problem.

Access violations that reference 0xc0000005 are almost invariably permissions related issues.

Use Filemon from

http://www.sysinternals.com

to track down the offending files and chnage the permissions on them.
