We have been having Dr.Watson errors coming in most of our computers and the cause is unknown. Its says sometimes Outlook.exe for some Iexplore.exe

We had rolled out IE5.5 SP1 last month. We are not sure that its IE 5.5 SP1 which is causing the problem or ?????

Initially we had IE 5.5 with Outlook security patch installed in all our 3000 users computers.

Then when we did an upgrade to Oracle 11i we had to roll out Jinitiator for Oracle.

So, we rolled out Jinitiator. After Jinitiator we had rolled out IE 5.5 SP1 cause there was a memory leak problem.

After this I reinstalled Outlook security patch again for all users system. After this we started getting Dr.Watson errors appearing here and there and its been chaotic for nearly 3 weeks.

I tried all the possible steps to see that this could be eliminated. But ultimately found that none of my solutions given by many did fix the problem and still users are getting error messages.

First I tried to change the settings in Internet Options
Second I tried repairing Internet Explorer it did not fix it
Third I tried uninstalling IE 5.5 SP1 and rolling back to IE 5.5 and reintalling Outlook 98 patch but still this did not fix it. For some users I tried reapplying service pack and this did not fix it after the previous two steps.

So, then finally I tried even killing Dr.Watson from the registry. Still users are getting saying

"outlook.exe an application error log being generated Exception: access violation Oxc0000005, Address: Ox6420996b

Some it is like iexplore.exe

Kindly get back to me asap if someone knows the fix??

thanks
