Can backup and restore no problems.

But when doing a Disaster Recovery I get to the point where I insert the Machine Specific disk it notifies of a reboot, the machine reboots then after a long delay in the GUI the error window "An error has occurred while initializing module. The application will terminate."

any ideas?

IS this a remote or local recovery???
check the dr.log in the drboot.tmp\system32\dr\log folder...

this should help you find the reason...

cheers
