I want to connect a System A (loaded with BC7.2) and a System B (loaded with BC11 SP12) together with a DPNSS tie line.
I can call from System B (BC11) to System A (BC7), but can not call from System A to System B. (unobtainable tone directly after the route access code).

ROCAP printout is as follows:

System A (BC7.2) : ROU=54,SEL=011000000000 ,SIG=011110000011,SERV=3110000000,BCAP=1011;
System B (BC11 SP12 ): ROU=54,SEL=011000000000001,SIG=011110000011,SERV=3110000000,BCAP=101100;

RODAP printout is as follows:

System A (BC7.2):TYPE=TL50,VARC=00000011,VARI=00000000,VARO=00000000;
System B (BC11SP12):TYPE=TL50,VARC=00000012,VARI=00000000,VARO=00000000;

I also tried:

RODAP printout is as follows:

System A (BC7.2):TYPE=TL50,VARC=00000011,VARI=00000000,VARO=00000000;
System B
(BC11P12):TYPE=TL50,VARC=00001012,VARI=00000000,VARO=00000000;

Calls from BC7.2 to BC7.2 is OK
Calls from BC11 to BC11 not tested
Calls from BC11 to BC7.2 OK
Calls from BC7.2 to BC11 NOK

Can someone provide help ? !

I always use :
Side A VARC=00000003
SIDE B VARC=00000000
SIG=111100000011
d11=1 :DPNSS
d12=1 :Net services enabled

I will test it and give the my feedback.

Thanks

Hi

I think that the var's and network services look OK.

Are you using exchange numbers EN's.
Could you also print the DEST codes.

If you make a test call from a digital phone what error do you get in the display, and what about a BLFDP..?

Regards
Isinor

I have tried your configuration but the result is the same.
Get unobtainable tone from BC7 system when dialing the destination code of the route.

From BC11 to BC7 no problem.

To Isinor

I am not using excahnge numbers.
Have not tried with digital phone. Only analog. Will try with digital tomorrow.

BLFDP gives NO blocking

BC11 system RODDP:
DEST=54,Rou=54,ADC=000500000000025000000000,TRC=0,SRT=1,NUMACK=0;

BC7 system RODDP:
DEST=11,ROU=11,ADC=00000000000250,TRC=0,SRT=1,NUMACK=0;

Greetings.

Table 2 Values of D 5 (VARC) for BC11Sp12.

0 1
Trunk Identity
Long *) X .
Short **) . X
*) 9 digits trunk identity (ROU-LIM-TRU XXX-XXX-XXX). This value shall only be used when cooperating exchange is ASB 501 04 R7 or higher.

**) 6 digits trunk identity (ROU-LIM-TRU XX-XX-XX). This value shall only be used when cooperating exchange is ASB 501 04 R6 or earlier.

So your VARC D5 in the bc11 must be 1 ,resulting
varc:
SIDE B VARC=00001000 (BC11 sp12)
SIDE A VARC=00000003 (BC7.2 )

Releases:

ASB 501 04 R2 BC7

ASB 501 04 R4/1 BC8.1
ASB 501 04 R6/1 BC9.ob
ASB 501 04 R7 BC10
ASB 501 04 R8 BC11
ASB 501 04 R11 BC12

To SYAR2003

I actually tried

SIDE B VARC=00001012 (BC11 sp12)
SIDE A VARC=00000011 (BC7.2 )

which did not work (unobtainable tone)

I did not try

SIDE B VARC=00001000 (BC11 sp12)
SIDE A VARC=00000003 (BC7.2 )

have you tested it ??

Greetings
Djujuman

Not tested , no more bc7 in my country, and we all mostly use qsig for the last years.
But the documantation specifies that BC11 connected to
R6(bc9) or earlier has to use the short naming of trunk.

Tip! set the ADC for BC7 dest towards bc11 to unknown private ,not type 6 (but type 5)
ADC=05050...

If you don't get it to work a trace on tl50 will
show the error cause in the call setup.

To SYAR2003

I will test your suggestions.
Will give you feedback later today.

Thanks

Thanks for solving my problem !!
The solution was indeed ADC=05... instead of ADC=00......
Even if I used my original values for VARC it still worked, but I adopted the VARC values from you. (more "elegant")

Also thanks to Isinor for asking me to print out de DEST.
(are you still going to Belgium sometimes ??)

THANKS GUYS !!
