DP5.10A + DAT24 drive problem

Hi,

Not sure in the right forum but please inform if not, thanks! We are taking in use with some months trailing period the DP in whole company. Now I'm testing that one and crushed problem with device installation.

I have external HP surestore DAT24. Works perfectly in NTbackup under W2003srv, however DP says when trying to do anything with it that "Cannot open device (unit not ready)". Found similar device in compatibility list so shoudn't be for that. There will be HP6000-series library later but now just testing with this device...

I don't think this is the right forum for you, but before I say for sure, what is "DP"?
