downtime

hi
I have a bit of downtime before my next project starts, I was doing some reading
not sure I read something correctly
can the Avaya ip office phones (like the 9608 for example) work on bcm50 release 6.0
(if I red it right it looked like it required a key code)
I have a handful of new ip office phones here, for some strange reason, thought I'd play a bit.
just thought I'd ask before I dug too deeply

Sorry, but you can't use the Avaya 96xx range of phones.

must have misread the document
it didn't make sense to me or my memory of the lack of SIP support on the BCM or unistim on the phones

SIP phone was developed for the BCM at 6.0 but never released and supported. This was because Avaya wanted IPO to be their main SME product.
