I have jsut purchased a new PC with XP Pro and am using Explorer 6. All functions and programs work perfectly.

However, some .pdf files will not download.

I did not have this problem with Windows 98 and Explorer 6.

Any suggestions?????

just a suggestion

On my acrobat 5.0 when i go to edit->preferences->options...there is an option "display pdf in browser"....try disabling it.

u could go to the same screen by Ctrl + K.

try it and let us know :) AOL Tech

Also, check your security settings: Tools, Internet Options, Security. Set them at medium, at the very highest. I run mine at low, as other measures give me a lot more confidence than IE's built-in abilities.

just to be sure. you do have acrobat reader don't you? "Jack of all trades. Master of none."
