downloading patches to BCM 450

Hello,

I have been recommended to download the latestest patches to the BCM 450 system...How do we go about this?

In Element Manager go to the Administration tab - Software Management - Software Updates

Click on "Get New Updates" and from there you have to browse to where ever the update is stored.

You must first get the patches onto your pc then you upload them to the BCM.

Also, once you have the patches, make sure that you install them in the correct order. Best to look at the readme file after you have extracted the zip file onto your computer.

Generally speaking, you need to update the system patch first and this requires a reboot, followed by the Desktop patch which doesn't require a reboot.
