Hi Gang

I have an ActiveX control that I have written. It is on our server now but when I load the HTML file that calls up the Control using an object reffernce I get a blank screen. However if I try it from the machine that I used to write the controlon it comes up without a problem.

What gives?

Have you used the package and deployment tools to create a downloadable cab file that installs the control on client machines??

Hey Simon

I figured out the problem. The security settings in IE were set to High for intranet and low for Internet. Even though we were using an address on our Internet server, IE was "smart" enough to realize that it was actually on our intranet. As soon as we adjusted the security settings for the intranet the ActiveX contol downloaded and installed fine.

Thanks for all your help

Ken
