downloading duplicate messages from worldmail to outlook

we're having a problem where users recieve duplicate email messages from a Eudora Worldmail ver. 2 server. the email client is MS Outlook. This problem started happening after we changed over from MS Mail and "unticked" the "save mail on server" option. any ideas??? thanks! :)
