downloading and installing php for windows xp 1

Hi,
Can i get a link for downloading php for windows xp ? i visited

but there are all kinds of downloads: zip, msi, installer etc.. and i couldnt make up my mind what excatly i need. I also downloaded some zip file, decompressed it and couldnt find any exe file for installing..
Anyone can help me with that ?

If I were you, I'd go with either Xampp or Wamp.

Personally, I use Xampp (it does what I want it to with no fuss).

It'll install Apache, PHP and MySQL to your system and set you up with a full test web server in a few minutes.
