I have been trying to download a zip file, save it to a floppy and print it out, however when I open it the entire docomunent is only symbols? Is it possible to open a zip file without a zip drive? I am not a computer wiz. What am I doing wrong?

Hi

This is hardly an Access question?, but

A zip file is a compressed file, it has nothing to do with a zip drive.

To print a zip file you need to 'unzip' it using the zip software.

You can get a (trial) copy of zip off the net, suggest you go to goole.com and search on zip Regards

KenReay,
Thank you for your response. I went to the site you recommended and downloaded a free trial copy of the zip software (which I believe will get me through what I needed it for without subscribing) I am able to open the files I needed.
Thank you again for your help.(I am new to this site and do not have alot of experience with the techniqual aspect of things) your right-not an Access question(I'll search around the site more and get the big picture!
