I have .jpg files that I want to have the user download by clicking a download button. When the button is clicked I want the file to automatically download without a browser opening or asking if they want to "save as".

Is there a way to do this without zipping the file?

Any insight is much appreciated!

not without a server-side scripting involved. the only client level solution would be a .zip file I believe

that would require way to much confidence in the user [lol]
