hi aix/perts,

does anybody have a script that will automate downloading of filesets? like these filesets (roughly 314 images):

ftp://techsupport.services.ibm.com/aix/fixes/v4/sp/LoadL.full.2.2.0.20.bff
ftp://techsupport.services.ibm.com/aix/fixes/v4/sp/LoadL.msg.En_US.2.2.0.8.bff
ftp://techsupport.services.ibm.com/aix/fixes/v4/sp/LoadL.msg.en_US.2.2.0.8.bff
ftp://techsupport.services.ibm.com/aix/fixes/v4/sp/LoadL.so.2.2.0.20.bff

thanks in advance....

Hi
We use the Fixdist Tool ( Grafical User Interface )
This Tool gets the Newest Filesets from IBM with wget from a Public IBM Download Server.
But you need a Lot of Diskspace.
You can only download AIX 4.2-4.3.3 and no AIX 5.1 Fixes at the Time.

I dont find the to the Fixdist Description now. sorry

Or you can use simply the wget command:

wget -c -i /name/of/your/list/of/urls
I hope it works...
Unix was made by and for smart people.
