I need to do a download of the current programming so I can edit it and make up a hardcopy of the necessary station data. It was suggested to use hyperterminal to do this but I am not sure of the serial port settings or where to hook up the cable to the MP card. Is it the same cable as I use for the IM-16 voicemail?

If you are using Matworx, use the “Office Data List up” feature to list up all the programming, be warned this can take awhile.
If you want to use Hyperterm, open up a Hyperterm session, name it and set it to default (96/8/N/1). Use a MAT CA T off port 0, (bottom port), normally the port is set to 96/8/N/1, use the 4000/1/2/3/4/5/6/8>0>? if you need to change any settings. Set up a file capture and then run through the commands you want the data from and they will be saved to the file capture on your desktop.

OK, I tried running the "Office Data Listup" again. But on CM 771 it only lists the analog phones. The digital are ignored. I used CM 771 in MOC and can pull up the digital phones just fine. Why won't Office Data Listup run the full CM 771??

It should have listed the analog phones too unless your listup did not include "all registered stations." See you have 4 tabs: "listup" "CMD list view" "CMD options" and "system options." Under "CMD list view," you can select all registered stations or deslect analog stations etc. Make sure everything you want is selected.
