download movies

HI there,
I am making a website with flash and I'm a bit new to this game. I need to put downloadable movies in various formats on the site and have no idea what to do or even where to start.
Can anyone help?

Zip them up, and use a getURL action to point to the .zip files...

For example on a button to download a QT video...

on(release){
getURL("

http://www.yourDomain.com/QTvideo1.zip");

}

and that makes the video download when the button is clicked? Do I then just put the video on the ftp site with the website files or is there something else to do?

Well you upload the .zip to the server, not really the video itself...

Now, the above script will open up the Save As dialog box for the user to decide whether he wants to download it or not...
Once downloaded, he then needs to uncompress the .zip to have access to the video...
