?? Download Java Plugin ??

Just started with Mozilla! Get Plugin (for java) I've downloaded this thing three times ??? How do I get Mozilla to know that its got it already.
Looking at About Plugins shows a ton of stuff 'Java Plugin' NPJava130_01c.dll.

I just made it work. For windows:
1) Uninstall the jre you installed.
2) if you like (I like, personally) remove your mozilla install. Reinstall it afterwards.
3) Install the sun jre plugin.
4) completely kill mozilla (including the quickstart)
5) copy the NP*.dll files from the jre bin directory (C:\Program Files\JavaSoft\JRE\1.3.1\bin) to the plugins directory of mozilla (C:\Program Files\mozilla.org\Mozilla\Plugins"
6) start mozilla.

Yeah, it should be better documeted somewhere.

dr. frabjous, thank you for your reply.

I just tossed Modzilla alittle while ago ... giving Netscape 6.2.1 another try.
My biggiest "beef" with Netscape is the beatnik plugin. And how the web pages with music differ between the two most used browsers. IE used WinMedia??? ah think.
And right now both aren't working for me in that area!

*I'll keep your note handy doc! 'case I go back to mozilla!
