I need to deliver customer specific monthly statments through our website. They are not long reports, just a page of information for each one. There are about 30 customers. I have a customer login page that redirects the client to their own page. I know I can create PDFs of the reports and posted them. I do not want to use ASP or any complicated programming to deliver the report. Is there a way to have a customer download an Excell or Word document directly from a webpage?

There is a free app that will create PDFs for you.

All you have to do is look at the ad they serve when you use it... or if you really like it, $20 I think is the ad-free version. I have used it with great success in the past.

When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.

Why not just have a link to the file such as

<a href=&quot;report.xls&quot;>Report (right click and Save As)</a>

you may have to put a path if it's not in the same directory and you might want to put better instructions.
