download as page or to harddisk

Hi,

Can anybody tell me, how can a download and display a file.

My ASP code generates an HTML file as output..as it finishes I need to display this file/allow the user to download as per his selection on previous page.

I am still trying to solve this problem....I wonder, if i am trying to solve impossible thing. If that is the case please let me know any alternative..may be a round about way.

my page code is something like

<!-- Have some common html code here ....not as #include file, but code decides what to display next after this-->
