Downgrading

Hai,

We have upgraded the IPU to the latest version and unfortunately there is a service advice released saying not to upgrade the IPU.

Now the service advise says
Do not upgrade the IPLU to R3D version because of a fault in the DSP image.
This can cause the IPLU board to crash spontaneously.
If the board already has been upgraded to version IPLU R3D we recommend it to be downgraded to IPLU R3C.
It may not be possible to downgrade with normal FW download, in that case use a PC and a USB flash reader.

Does any body know how to perform downgrade by using PC and flash card???

take a USB compact flash reader.
take the compact flash from the IPLU
put it in the reader, windows will recognize a new drive
delete everything on it, put old R3C back files on the flash.
