I've never have had the need to downgrade a version of an Ipo.
I would like to prepare for the inevitable...

For a test, I would like to upgrade my latest R9.1 lab system to the latest R10.

Do I:
[ul]
[li]Upgrade 9.1 to 10.X via Manager[/li]
[li]Reload the 9.1 Manager on my PC (or change Manager Directory to 9.1 bins)[/li]
[li]Run an "Upgrade" to 9.1[/li]
[/ul]

When you attempt to Upgrade using 9.1 files against a R10 system, does the upgrade screen show VERSION >10.X AVAILABLE >9.1 and you just click UPGRADE and the system happily DOWNGRADES?
Like I said I never did this before.
Am I just asking to "brick" my system?
I do NOT have a R10 License (yet) to use to actually test the upgrade. I just want to upgrade & revert.
My guess it won't be that simple [sad]

Thanks in Advance

does the upgrade screen show VERSION >10.X AVAILABLE >9.1

Install Rls 9.1 Manager, or get the BIN files for 9.1, select Upgrade, proceed. I had to downgrade a 10.x all the back to 7.x.. Wasn't pretty, but it worked.
