Hi,
I upgraded my machine from win nt 4.0 workstation to server. In thec process I was able to save my original configurations were saved. More specifically, the registry was unaffected.

Now, I need to reverse the process, and downgrade nt server to a workstation. I was wondering if there is a way to do this while preserving the registry. I've done this process before, but had to do a clean install which did not save the registry information.

Thanks in advance.

You can restore your system from tape backup. This will revert your system back to NT workstation.
No other way to do it as far as I know. Joseph L. Poandl
