Downgrade IP Office 500v2 from R9.0 to R8.1

Hello Guys

I have an IP office 500v2 with software version 9.0 and i want to use phone manager software but its not supported i guess with the R9.0 of the IP office so i decide to do the downgrade to 8.1.
i just want to know if the manager 8.1 is all i need and follow the upgrade wizard.

You cannot downgrade a exsisting 9.0 config to a lower version, it will get corrupted so you must rebuild the config from scratch.
You can use PM on 9.0 but switching from lite to pro is impossible unless you use a trick ( works only with the 9.0 manager!) and you need a 8,1 manager as well.
in the 8.1 manager create a offline config and in that config create two user right profiles : one with PM Pro enabled and one with PM Pro disabled.
Copy the uer right profiles from the 8.1 manager and paste it in the 9.0 manager.
In order to enable/disable PM Pro in 9.0 copy the apprpriate user profile to a user.
But it is better to downgrade to 8.1...
 
From my experience of downgrading from 9/9.1 o8.1 the only thing that broke in the config was the PRI line. A simple delete of the line and the card followed by a reboot resolved that.
