Hi,

i`ve an issue whit freezing displays and disappear fonts at the first line of them. This issues is unique to firmware version R5B. I´ve a couple of R4G devices whitout these problems. Is there a chance for downgrade to version R4G?

regards Heiko

Maybe this problem which is still fixed in R5C???

Solved FRs/TRs:
- Old DBC223, DBC225 and DBC224 (with display type 1, produced 2004 and earlier)
updated with FW R5B, will end up with no text on the display.
You have to press C*4 then *1 to make the display coming back

I`ve no knowledge about R5C. I thought R5B is the current final release!?

We have introduced the TSWSP7 about two years ago. For all devices the year of production is not before 2011...

Do you mean FW or HW?
Print out CNBIP on that device, R5C looks like the HW (ROA number), which you can not change.
The latest FW should look like
CAA1580026 R4H
CAA1580027 R2D
CAA1580028 R2E
CAA1580029 R2E
CAA1580048 R1H

fcpli

FW R5C is not officially released yet but as the fault description sounds similiar
I have posted the solved problem...

maybe R5C will solved my problem but it is not feasible to restore the displayfunction by pressing some keys. german users are spoiled :)

here are the firmwareversions the currently installed

CAA1580026 R5B EXE
CAA1580027 R2E
CAA1580028 R2E
CAA1580029 R2D
CAA1580048 R2B

I´ll test the R5C on a couple of devices. Maybe it works fine for me.

Many thanks and merry Christmas @ all...
