What's the procedure for it? Our customer has genesys CTI application and huge problems. And genesys support tells that this is because genesys supports, up to BC12 SP8

So we should downgrade md110 to sp8 ..
Can somebody tell the easiest way to do it?

Downgrading is not possible. This means that you'll have to make a new system from INL SP8.

It is maybe easier to find out what patches are causing troubles and remove these. Are you using CAS extensions towards T-server?

Hi

Not so easy as it may not concern only patches but also PU that has been recompiled.
In ESD you have the possibility to have a rollback feature, but this is availbale only if you selcet it before doing the upgrade.
Inother hand, may be you have a backup of the customer installation (may be a old one) and you can reload from that backup.

If these 2 option are not available, I agree with whordaddy, restart from INL SP8; even then it will be difficult as PCREGEN is not made to downgrade the data for regeneration (I don't think that there is modification in the commands or parameters, but you have to take that in mind if a command fail a data regeneration)

Hi all,
WE use IVR cas extensions monitored by Genesys T server.. But actually what causes the problem is not known.. GenesysT server crashs 4 or 5 times per week...Actually i don't believe that sp10 causes the problem but officialy genesys didn't test it with SP10 and it's the only defending mechanism for them to think that problem is on md110 BC12 SP10 side.

The problem was also in bc10 system last month with earlier Genesys version and we upgraded both Genesys and MD110 BC12 SP10 we have harddisks for bc10 but no any other backup

whosrdaddy>>> why did you ask CAS extensions towards T server.? Is there any clue about the problem?

Rgrds.

I did have issues in the past where ELP7 pacthes (cas extensions) caused trouble towards Genesys. This was in BC11. I currently don't have customers with Genesys in BC12 so it was a wild guess.

there is a bug in SP9 that causes ACD to cut calls (Has something to to with updating of queue information on Display). Maybe this is causing problems towards T-server.

check if these patches are active :

PCLOP:UNIT=KLP1T,CI=S107772A;

PCLOP:UNIT=DAAP,CI=S107454A;

can you provide the printout of these commands?

Ok, try to passivate these patches and see if operation is more stable:
