Today time warner telecom had a major problem with their local 5ess switch, all my customers with TW t1 trunks lost service for about 1 1/2 hours. When this occured the error code 51-08 appeared, which means that the 12x0 is not connected correctly. Funny thing the two T1 (not PRI) are in the 0x32?

The second question is they are using XC 6.0 which as the ability to add a third T1. Is there a way for me to have them purchase that third T1 from a MCI, ATT etc as a back up in the event the two time warner circuits go down again to quickly switch? Traffic remotely to third T1?

you could have it just idle and have a programmed overflow...i found that t1 does not allways go down hard on older versions and it does not allways overflow ...you could have a service programmed to do this at the touch of a button on a control set your mode switches to the backup key... i believe 3rd t1 need to be a pri T...

SINCE THERE NOT ISDN-PRI YOU WOULD HAVE MOVE THE T1 THAT'S TRUNKS 1-24 TO THE 12X, THEN PLACE THE NEW T1 IN THAT POSITION. YOU WOULD ACCESS THE NEW MCI OR WHATEVER LAST OR WHEN THE OTHER T1 GO DOWN.
