Doubt in Date format

Hi ,

I insert a database field into my report having date as datatype. But when previewing the report i saw the field as something like
01/12-60823. I changed the format field option to get the required date but ....had only the above. I am using Oracle and connecting through ODBC.I have verified with verify database and all are corrrect. But still i'm getting 21-01-60863.

I suspect you are getting a date-time from Oracle. I use MS-SQL and all dates are really date-time. You need to format the data without the time.

Have you tried in report designer - go to File/Report Options: Convert Date-time field to: "Date"
