double page spread does not print correctly

I have two files with a double page spread that print only one of the pages. The links manager says that all links are current. The printer spits out a blank for one page, and the other page prints correctly.

Oddly enough, the double page spread distills perfectly. One would think that if there is a printing problem, it would balk at distilling too.
