Help... I cannot log onto my terminal... It gives me double letters when I type. Any advise?

Shut the terminal off for a couple of minutes, then back on. That should reset the terminal to default parameters.

In my rush I made the situation worse. I went into the Terminal configuration (Ctrl+F1) and changed the keyboard from ASCII to scan. Now when ever I type it comes up with the wrong characters and I can no longer get into the Terminal Setup. I see a 9 Pin Serial on the back of the unit. Is there a way to Hyperterm into it and change it back?

Also as a side note this is a MAX 900 terminal connected to a Definity G3r system.

bloch309,

turn it off and get rid of it. then take any aged pc with serial port, connect it to g3r, install avaya site admin and have fun.

Ended up gettign another terminal.

Thanks for the tip about Avaya site admin though...
