Hello,

I created forms from queries for data entry. Is it possible to have another person to enter data for the second time into the same database, and let the database itself check the agreement of the two entries? I hope that for every field the second person enters data, the database will check the value and warn him if the value doesn't match with the first entry. Has anybody done something like this?

Thank you.

Sure it is possible. Figure out a way to save the user name and Timestamp along with the data. Then join on those fields and on the key fields, and make an UPDATE query on the records that match appropriately.

Of course, you will have to have a way to mark the real data, so it is separated from the data entered straight off the forms. This could be done with another column called "IsCommitted" or so.
