double click or drag and drop doesn't work

Photoshop CS when I double click an associated file type or drag and drop a file to the Photoshop Icon on the Dock in OS X the file won't open the only way to open is by Photoshop>File>Open is there a way to reset this correctly?

I had the same problem, here is what I found on adobe user forum, I tried the second solution and it worked just fine.

This is most commonly due to installing Photoshop CS before doing an archive and install of Mac OS10.3.

The easiest solution is to reinstall Photoshop CS after you have installed Mac OS10.3.

Open your Previous System folder.
Find "Adobe Unit Types".
Copy it into: <Panther volume>/Library/ScriptingAdditions/ .
