Hi,

I have a continuous form as a subform and want the user to double-click one of its fields, causing a small form to pop up to provide easy editing capability. As far as I can recall this worked fine when I first created it but now I cannot get any event-driven response (click,double-click,enter...) at all. Is there some property that I might have set which inhibits the events? The field has enabled on and locked off.

I am going crazy. Can anyone help?

With thanks

Can you run any code, or is it just this form? Have you check macro security levels? Does the property sheet for the control show [Event Procedure] on the relevant event lines?

Hi..Thanks for the response.

The answer is yes to all of your questions. It remains very puzzling.

Yes it does. I have another form where it works perfectly well. I have given up the attempt to solve this. I replaced the continous form with a list and it works fine. It will have to remain a mystery. But thanks for your help anyway.
