I am running IIS5.0 under W2K on my local machine and have a remote website hosted on a W2K Advanced Server. My remote site is a 'reseller' site with multiple domains and so the directories for the domains have '.' in the name (e.g. mydomain.com). I am trying to mirror the remote site on my local machine, but if I change the names of the local directories so that they have a '.' in them, nothing works any more (Page Cannot Be Found). Everything works OK again if I simply rename the directories without the dots - but then they no longer mirror the remote site. The only difference is the '.' in the directory names. WHAT'S GOING ON?
