dot r (.r) extension? 2

Is anyone familiar with a .r extension? Anyone know what would create this or what it does?

.r Ratfor (FORTRAN preprosessor) file

where did you run into FORTRAN? tis an old language, lerned about it studying computer programing history...

You guys are awesome! That't right it is Fortran. Blah. I guess I am too new to the programming world to know the Fortran program extension.

I found it in some third party tracking software. So much for my OOA and OOD training.
