Dot Matrix Printing Problem

I do have an application written in Access 97 that prints on a dot matrix printer. The printer is an Epson 8500DX. It was working perfectly until the arrival of Windows XP. After that, we downloaded the new drivers for the printer and install them. Now after printing about 100 documents, the printer starts to add empty lines at the top of the reports and therefore damage the next print outs (invoices). What can I do?

I had a similar problem with an Epson printer when we upgraded to XP but it happened right after we upgraded. I called Epson and they were more than happy to help even though our printer is at least 15 years old!! (course I didn't volunteer that fact but they never asked) Fixed the problem in less than 5 minutes.
