My question regards the need for a windows-like .pif to run a legacy DOS program in Linux.
I can mount the windows share, create a symbolic link to it in the freedos directory, open dosemu and cd to the directory.
When I try to execute the program, it "rolls off" the line because (I think) it needs the memory protections normally offered by the desktop .pif in windows.
Perhaps another emulator can do this?
Thanks
